Another famous food of Mie is their Ise-udon. Compared to maybe the type of udon that you're used this Ise-udon is a bit thicker and fluffier, making it a softer pillow-like noodle. Personally, I'm not sure if it was my favorite way to eat udon since I prefer a noodle that's a little more chewy, but I think it's important to try to the local specialties and I do think maybe this will be a good noodle option for when I use dentures haha.
