Saihōji (Kokedera) Temple 西芳寺 (苔寺)

I first heard about this moss temple through my friend Fumi and it sounded so serene I knew I had to go on this trip. It's a bit further out from where most things are in Kyoto and a bit of a walk from the train station... you also need to make a reservation to visit in advance, which I did about a month before our visit. That being said, it was truly such a beautiful place and I want to visit again maybe when it's a bit cooler out or where the moss has had some time to get moist lol.
