As a girl who loves pancakes and despises the fluffy pancakes that everyone in Japan seems to love, I'm always on the hunt for a pancake here that will satisfy my diner pancake cravings. These aren't it, but is something entirely and completely special on it's own.

Founded in 1935, which makes it one of the oldest continuously operating kissaten in Kyoto, Unzen makes what I called if dorayaki mad a mochi texture and was a thicc boy. You gotta try these pankys!!!
