🌶️ Choubunya 長文屋 七味

I don't think I'll ever forget the intense pepper smell I experienced the first time I stepped foot in Choubunya. Located on a backstreet near Kitano Hakubaicho, this third generation-owned shop is where you can buy your shichimi the old-fashioned way where you tell them what spices you want and what level of spiciness, and then they blend it in front of you. I picked up a couple to bring back to Tokyo as omiyage!
